Meet your Inspector

Total Scope is locally owned and operated by Tyler Schumann.

Before becoming a home inspector, I spent more than seven years in the appliance-repair industry and have served in law enforcement for the past six years. Those careers taught me to investigate thoroughly, pay close attention to detail, and communicate findings clearly.

My interest in home inspection began after my wife and I built a new home. Like many homeowners, we assumed new construction would mean fewer problems. We quickly learned that even new homes can have issues that deserve careful attention.

That experience led me to pursue home-inspection training through Inspection Certification Associates and InterNachi. My goal is simple: provide a thorough inspection, explain my findings in plain language and help you make informed decisions about your home or future home.
